Pisang Tanduk bananas are long and curved, averaging 5-8 centimeters in diameter. The horn-shaped fruit has a thick peel that is green when immature and yellow when ripe. The inner flesh is yellow to cream-colored and has a semi-firm texture. When green, Pisang Tanduk bananas are slightly sour, but when mature and cooked, they become creamy and sweet. They are well known for deep-fried banana fritters (pisang goreng)
